The Inn at Jackson was built in 1902 by the Baldwin piano family as their Summer Cottage. In 1922, it was converted to an inn and has remained that way since then.

The inn overlooks Jackson Village and Pinkham Notch and you can enjoy those views looking out our large windows while having breakfast in our remodeled dining room. The inn offers 14 guestrooms and beautiful common areas with wood fireplaces and comfortable areas to sit and chat.

Remember that feeling you had when you went to your grandparent’s house for a visit? The home would wrap around you like a warm fleece blanket. You could hear the crackle of fireplace and the amazing aromas of the baked goods coming out of the kitchen would make your mouth water with joy. That’s the feeling you get when you enter the Inn at Jackson.

You won’t be greeted by your grandparents but our friendly and accommodating staff will make you feel at home from the moment you enter through our front door and view our spacious lobby until the time you leave, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Jackson Village is a quintessential New England town with quaint shops and amazing restaurants. The area’s landscape, complete with the Jackson “Honeymoon” covered bridge built in 1876, is located on the edge of 750,000 acres of the White Mountain National Forest.

Spectacular natural beauty, and as much four season recreation as you’ll find in all of New England. Hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, horse back riding, golfing, in the Summer.  In Winter, we are centrally located to area attractions, including Attitash, Wildcat, Cranmore and Black Mountain ski resorts as well as Jackson Ski Touring’s famous cross-country trails, which lead right from our door.

Our Guests say

"A lovely character property. Room was large and clean. Air con unit made far too much noise! Great staff and a good breakfast. A good short stay. The mountains are beautiful and well worth a visit. We joined in the local July 4th celebrations with welcoming locals."

Beautiful setting and lovely staff. The inn feels like home. We got in late and they left the keys waiting for us. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. I would highly recommend.

The Inn was charming, warm and comfortable. The sitting room had a nice fire going as we sank in the leather chairs to enjoy a glass of wine. We stayed in the Wentworth room off the lobby and enjoyed the fireplace in our room. The breakfast room had a fire in the fireplace and cloth covered tables. The breakfast, with a wide range of choices, was cooked to order and delicious. The staff was great. They even helped brush the 10 inches of snow off my car! We will definitely return to this New England treasure.
